This is my second time having this beer, the first time was from the fridge, and this time from the cupboard, at room temp.
The first time the pour was uneventful but this time it's crazy foamy, I had to let it settle before I took the picture. When the foam settled to one and a half fingers, I dived into the body of chocolate brown, with a ruby red hue.
Aromas of caramel straight out the gate, seeet biscuit, doughy bread and then some dried orange peel. The hops follow behind with over ripe mango, pineapple and grapefruit. All the hits.
The beer is medium bodied with equal measures of carbonation and foaminess. The 7% brings warmth while the foam leaves a slick coating in the mouth.
Taste is the dank fruit upfront, at first before the malts crash the party with the caramel and orange peel. This all comes as too much too fast, as there is not much time to process and enjoy before a wave of bitter malt washes it all away, leaving a bitter, fry aftertaste.
The label says red ale but I feel this is more than flirting with the red ipa style and I like that. I like it alot. It falls short a little in both categories but I'm going to keep buying it while it is still available.

Väriltään hieman tummempi red ale.
Maku on maltainen ja melko katkeroinen.
Jälkimaku varsinkin on todella kuiva.
Toimii hyvin saunan jälkeen.
Kuivattelee mukavasti hiet ikenistä.
