This has a roasted malt taste with caramel/toffee, light bakers chocolate with a hint of molasses and dark fruit. It’s bitter and sweet leaning towards the sweet side. It’s not very dark. It’s more of a dark amber. Overall it’s a quality dark lager. It’s very tasty. I’m impressed with this brewery. I’ve actually visited it twice a while ago. It’s near my parent’s house. Unfortunately I don’t get over there when I’m down there as I am dealing with “aging” parents. Luckily there is a Joe Canal’s nearby. 1/21/26 date on the can.
