Gulped straight from the bottle, as well. The transparent bottle allows me to assess the appearance though. This is a lucid gold cider with a faint green hue. Sweet apple and pear in the fragrance. Is there pear in this drink? Obviously not. Sweet apple jam and pear juice can also be found in the taste. The sensation is juicy, sappy, pulpy, still a bit dry and drying. Fairly natural though. As an apple cider, I would give 2.8/5 As a sweet cider, I'm generous with 3.8/5. I will, therefore, go for the average of the two.
