A rich, dark, full – bodied old ale that really has to be tasted to be appreciated. This beer is usually the first to sell out at beer festivals, thanks to its blend of Pale, Lager, Crystal, Wheat and Black malts that are fermented with an English yeast. Bramling Cross hops are added to provide a hint of orange and a balancing dose of bitterness.

Dark, almost like a stout.
Aroma: Big aroma of prunes, raisins, dried apricots etc. Liquorice and roasted malts.
Taste: It starts really nice with the prunes, raisins, apricots etc. Still a nice liquid. It dries out with a roasty flavor in the second half. Dark roasted coffee.
Overall, a really nice beer!

Maussa on mallasta , lakritsia, luumua ja paahdetta. Paahteisuus on osin jopa kitkerää.
Siksikin hyvä olut kun, tumma ja paahteinen on mieleen. Ja ulkonäkö yllätti jälleen oletusarvot.

a vary dark appearance and subtle sweet aroma. in taste, it's a blend of sweetness and coffee butter, mistly the latter. it remains light overall. it's alright.
