This is a hefty, heavy rogue of a double IPA. It manages to balance a massive, dangerous alcoholic strength with a mouthfeel as soft as a cloud. It may not have the sharp, crystal clarity of Ossett’s old-school ales, but for those who want to lose themselves in a thick, fruit-forward fog, the Smog Rat is a magnificent beast to hunt down.

Wow delicious and tasty. Very dank with a lot of fruit in the nose and front. Very enjoyable.

Quite brutal to drink, you can taste how strong it is. Packed full of citrus, though sadly a tad too sweet for me. Still though, it's a really good beer and quite hoppy.
