Beer #6 is the last beer of my Belgian gift box. Pity but no can do. Here we go.
The appearance is translucent, deep amber. The carbonation is posh as it crafts a soft moussy off-white head that shoots up to three fingers. The long retention keeps the lacing alive for as long as I have beer in the glass.
Malt and biscuit in the scent. Rather restrained. A hint of yeast merges with orange peel. Relatively limited overall.
The tastebuds get surprised at the very soft flavors, such as malt, biscuit, orange peel, a twist of tangerine and remote Belgian yeast. Indeed, the whole package is round and entirely edgeless.
The body is light to light-medium. The tail is soft and fluffy, faintly sweet-leaning and waves more or less with the same load of components.
The beer leaves a light-medium, soft, smooth, a tad Belgiany and frothy. Astonishingly approachable.
