Definitely has a chocolaty aroma. Flavour is sweet malty with stone fruit notes.

A pleasant porter but I think its flavours would come out more with a higher ABV.

I was bought this as a present and wasn't actually expecting to like it as I'm not a fan of the chocolate/coffee flavours usually associated with stouts. This is a lighter alternative and the roasted toffee flavours are subtle without lingering. I can see why this got a 'great taste' badge.
