German Black IPA
4.1% Black IPA / Cascadian Dark Ale
Smooth but crisp, easy drinking black IPA utilising some of the more modern German hops. Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc bring some fruity notes to a delicately roasty malt backbone.
Hops:Citra, Hallertau, Mandarina Bavaria

Decent drink with a nice orange fruit aroma. Similar taste profile, but with a definite malty note. Slight piney hoppiness mixed in. Roasted, smoky notes lead onto a nice bitter finish. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Smells like IPA, tastes like IPA but with a slight stout feel.

Not particularly fond of this. Very smoky and a slightly jarring earthy flavour.
