A non-alcoholic after-sauna refreshment. And a toast for St. Patrick's! 🍻☘️🍀 The beer is translucent, deep gold. Timid carbonation. A creamy head falls short of one finger and dissolves fast to a thin lace ring. The scent can't be more predictable than this: a cocktail of Belgian Ale and non-alcoholic beer elements. I receive biscuit, waffle, inverted sugar syrup and peach flavored tea. The taste profile follows the same path that I have trampled so many times before. Malt, biscuit, peach flavored tea, orange peel, lemon zest and a twist of carambola. That's the story. The body is thin. The finish is fruity, slightly bitter citrusy and faintly malty. Short duration. Feels thin, zesty, distantly drying. Simple. Characterless. Predictable, as said.
