I found this beer for Ryan and I to Duo. It has a 14.75% alcohol and it's a dessert Stout so why not. Never had a beer from this brewery. Strong alcohol aroma as soon as I opened the can. Poured black like used motor oil, no head whatsoever. Texture is soft, creamy and heavy. Flavor hits hard with an abundance of alcohol and a blast of chewy chocolate brownie. Behind it comes the cinnamon and vanilla. Ryan believes that it's all artificial and he's probably right. I think the heavy alcohol might be contributing to that characteristic. For both of us, this is not well balanced. The alcohol and the chocolate battle each other for dominance and the other flavors try to be relevant and aren't. I don't know if it's just too young or maybe it is artificial but it's just not working.
