“Named after Sir Thomas More whose decapitated head is believed to have been stolen by his sister and hidden in the Roper family vault in St Dunstan’s Church”. A chestnut coloured Bitter providing malt and roasted grains balanced by fruit and floral hop bitterness with a hint of citrus

Chestnut coloured & nutty flavoured, with a moreish roast malt body & a slightly dry bitter finish.

OK. Quite a light tasting beer despite the colour. No real malt or hop flavours that stand out.

An excellent bitter, and as with all pints in the Dog House served in tip top condition via gravity from the barrel. Also this was 3.7%.
