Super! Very understated for a DIPA but delivering subtle citrus flavours, slightly bitter orange, earthy pine and pineapple. Far too easy drinking for the strength!

No head on this, quite subdued on the aroma side of things too. It's light in the mouth for a double with a low level of bitterness. I prefer my beers to be a bit more complex taste wise

Another excellent beer from one of the West's finest brewers. This is a powerful DIPA but doesn't taste overly strong - which is always a great (if slightly dangerous) thing. There is mention of marmalade on the bottle - and this would be great on toast. It's got more hops than you can shake a massive stick at and plenty of pineapple zip with a dropped Christmas tree's worth of pine. Oh, and the label is black and gold. Class.
