The Lupulus Hibernatus is a dark strong beer. At the end of the boiling, the brewers add a pinch of cinnamon. The mix with torrefied barley brings this beer a powerful character. The After-taste is at the same time bitter-sweet, and finish on coffee aromas.

Fine mousse ocre, robe marron opaque, bulles invisibles... Plutôt fines sur la langue Nez cardamome Bien amère (pour une bière, pas forcément pour une stout) et du corps Arômes caramel, notes épicées, un peu de canelle Rétro agrumes, la cardamome revient 😉 C'est bon, plus qu'une bière d'hiver, une bonne bière de Noël malgré l'époque tardive 🍻
