Kinn Julefred
4.7% Brown Ale
Our green-label Julefred is a perfect accompaniment to traditional Western Norway Christmas fare. The style is a top-fermented Scottish beer, with the sweetness of malt and the flavours of caramel, nuts, chocolate and a touch of coffee. Moderate hoppiness is ideal for cured mutton ribs, but also pork ribs are an option, or simply enjoy as a drink. Hopefully Julefred will deliver Yuletide Peace as the name suggests. Malt: Pale Ale malt, Bayer malt, caramel malt, dark caramel malt, amber malt and roasted barley Hops: Hallertau Northern Brewer and East Kent Goldings Yeast: Wyeast 1318 London Ale III

Ihan ok jouluolut, vähän kyllä määrä (75cl) korvaa laadun. Väri samean ruskea kuin kotikaljassa ja maussakin on jotain samaa.

Info: Scottish beer dark Christmas ale, 4.7% abv Appearance: dark copper colored (does not appear in the photo) I got almost only foam when poured into the glass even though I was very careful. Aroma: moderate hop aroma, dried fruit, raisins, roasted nuts and dark bread crumbs Taste: tastes very strongly of Christmas spices, star anise, raisins, dried dark fruit, roasted nuts, roasted malt, dark bread crumbs and coffee. Overall: This beer poured only foam in the glass, so you could say that there was still life in the yeast in the bottom of the bottle. A very good beer with smooth taste and aroma. Not too bitter and not too flat.
