My prior encounter(s?) with steam beer were not convincing, but this Nordic contraption is great. Crisp vanilla cookies with refreshing fruity hop notes in the back. And it pairs surprisingly well with some Chino-Indonesian take out. (I have written about the weird Dutch cultural heritage of Chino-Indonesian Specialty Restaurants in a prior post).
