The Black Country is all about Best Bitters and this ones a belter, cooper in colour this is a lovely well rounded and approachable ale with a nice harmony between malt richness and hop bitterness. A classic hop combo of Challenger and First Gold presents layers of floral notes on top of toffee and biscuit sweetness.

Still a boster of a beer. Same profile as before. Still an enjoyable drink and a good session ale. Thought it would be finished by now but must of have had another barrel.

Another bostin pint from Fixed Wheel. Like a good old fashioned bitter. Malty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Malty taste with a nice toffee sweetness to finish. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale especially at the abv
