This cider is dressed in transparent gold. The carbonation is sparkling but unlocks an off-white bubbly head that grows half a finger tall only. The foamy cap dies quickly. Pear juice is obvious in the scent. Gives a somewhat sweet pre-warning to my tastebuds. And indeed, sweet it is. Or at least medium-sweet. Pear juice and mushy pear flesh, accompanied by sweet apple juice, is what I receive on the tongue. Not overly sappy though. Feels light, lip-glueing, smooth, juicy and pulpy. Definitely drinkable but a bit too sweet to my taste.
