This dark, decadent winter porter has a smokey edge underneath the creamy roast flavours upfront, a fabulous winter beer with a long evolving finish.

Still a boster of a beer from Fixed Wheel. Same profile as before but seems more smoky than before. Still a good session ale even at the abv. Another good quaffable drink even at the abv.
Strange coincidence that a porter was so named the locomotive as it was the nickname of a cyclist from Wolverhampton whose name was Hugh Porter. He was quite a successful rider in his day

Another bostin pint from Fixed Wheel. Decent smokey aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Malty taste with a nice smokiness thrown in. Bitter finish but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale even at the abv.
