Medium sized, tanfield. Color is dark brown and opaque. Doesn't last very long. Good strong toasted chocolate flavor, still light and crisp. Dry, not creamy, which I like in a Porter. Bittersweet chocolate finish. If they were trying to brew a basic roasted chocolate porter, they hit it perfectly.

I was expecting a chocolate Porter. This is far from it. Hop Cocoa is a hoppy beer that has orange citrus & a hint of pine. There are some roasted malts with some very light chocolate to it.
Overall it's not a bad beer but if you think you are getting a true porter, that it is not. I'd still give it a 3.5. It is a little interesting & reminds me of a black IPA which I dig.

Described as a wicked weed variation of a chocolate Porter. If you are familiar with wicked weed, you know this means it is heavily hopped. They use chocolate from a local chocolatier. All of this comes together to make a very weak chocolate taste. If you are looking for a chocolate Porter, look elsewhere. If you like hops you may like it.
