Today is the last day of Dry January. Hence, 0.4 %. The beer is really turbid. As if a spoonful of fruit puree was poured in the glass, in addition to the beer itself. Probably blood grapefruit. The color is dark orange. An off-white soapy head first exceeds two fingers and settles down to a hair-thin haze and ring. Blood grapefruit in the air. No doubt about it. And orange zest and peel. The fragrance is fruity and short-lived. The taste is zesty with orange peel and pith, some orange zest as well, plus blood grapefruit pulp. In addition, I'm able to spot the brown hairy kiwi peel that gives a bit harsh flavor to the package. The body clocks thin. The end is as citrusy and zesty as before. The flavors don't evolve. The mouthfeel is zesty, pulpy, pithy and refreshing. A bit drying, as well. Very nice in its own category.
