Missä minttu?

Minttu oluessa on aina vähän uhka vai mahdollisuus. Limen kaverina tuli tuoksusta lähinnä mieleen hammastahna, mutta ihan juotavaa tavaraa kuitenkin.

Raikas ja erittäin limeisä, minttuakin maistuu hiemaan. Korkea dokabiliteetti!

Keltaoranssi samea neste. Tuoksussa reilusti limeä ja minttua. Hapanoluen kirpeys on kyllä ihan kohtalaisen kiva. Lime ja minttu on kyllä vahvasti maussa. Kyllä tämänkin tölkin kylki pitää mitä lupaa, hyvin mojitomainen kokonaisuus.

A mojito sour ale doesn't sound like my cup of beer but I'll give it a try. Even if I don't necessarily fancy mojitos, I hope the beer delivers what it promises. Hazy, mango orange is the color. The carbonation reminds me of its presence with a hissing sound but once done, it behaves well, even timidly. The emerging head is fairly unimpressive. Mint and lime in the air. Big time! Especially mint. Whoaah! My guess is that there's wheat malt in the basement but the dominant mojito punch is so ample that it's hard to analyze the grainbill at all. The gustatory elements make a different order: lime is big on the tongue. Mint is also powerful but still comes the second. Some lemon zest and wheat malt escort the cocktail. The body is light. Ends with the lime beating the mint. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, zippy and exotic. It's acidic, surprisingly little tart but still puckering. Delivers, for sure! If you are looking for a mojito, this is where to find it. And I appreciate it.
