This North Carolina golden ale was a gift from my son on his vacation in the Smoky mountains. Golden color for this golden ale. Nice head but it's gone quickly. Almost clear but seems to have a slight mist. Sweet corn aroma. Texture is mildly soft turns a little brisk in the finish. Flavor has sweet honey with gentle malt. Only a trace of cornflake in the background. Later I get a little lemon that adds a very nice tartness.
