Glögi is the finnish equivalent to mulled wine from the 15th century. Prohibition 1919-1932 hit hard and alcohol almost disappeared. Glögi tradition began to recover in the 60's and nowadays it's an essential part of survival trough the dark winter in Finland. This red currant based sour is infused with orange peel and traditional glögi spices.
