Deep, dark, full bodied ale. Very nice.

Dieser Winter Warmer in Gestalt eines Rich Dark Ale ist im Glas fast blickdicht schwarz; eine Blume ist kaum vorhanden. Es riecht leicht röstig und etwas schokoladig. Der Antrunk ist erstaunlich dünn. Das legt sich erst gegen Ende mit etwas mehr Temperatur. Geschmacklich ist dunkle Schokolade der erste Eindruck. Schnell tritt dann auch hier Röstigkeit hinzu und wird mit jedem Schluck intensiver. Hintergründig schwebt eine citrale Note mit. Die 6% sind überhaupt nicht merkbar. Damit ist es auch nicht wirklich ein Winter Warmer und die Bezeichnung Dark Ale wäre ausreichend gewesen.

It would be a shame to be here in the Yorkshire wolds and not have a beer or two from TopWold brewery. It’s deep and dark and beautifully malty. It’s a proper full bodied ale with toasty malty roasty flavours. Can’t go wrong.

Odorosa, sta bene con tutto, buona buona

Birra dall’odore intenso e dal buon gusto, nonostante la bassa gradazione. Colore ambrato scuro top!!!

Dark Yorkshire beer. Good for a cold winters night. Serve at room temp!
