Semiclear, deep amber beer from cask unlocks a shy, white head that settles soon down to a hair-thin lace ring. The very weak scent represents zesty lemon, distant honey and a silent whisper of orange.
The palate portrays slightly bitter grapefruit peel and recognizeable bitter orange. The light-bodied beer continues with bitter unidentified citrus in which all nuances blend into one. The aftertaste's duration is long.
The mouthfeel is light and rather thin, very light-crisp, mild-tart, somewhat summery and quite easy.

Nice golden ale from this brewpub.
