Coffee and beer, what could go wrong? It has a nice hue and smells of dark coffee. And the coffee is there in the taste, hand in hand with the barley. It's punchy and bitter but clean and sharp. I'm not sure I'd go for more than one or two on the trot, as there's not enough to keep me interested for more than a couple of cans. It's not a bad brew. There's definitely coffee, and a good amount of pale ale. If you like both of those there's a good chance you'll get on with this okay.
