After opening, did not want to stay in the bottle! So much foam. 2 cm of beer in the glass, topped with hand-and-half of foam. Sitting here now, five minutes later, and the bottle is still not empty. This’ll take a while. Hazy amber color in the glass, when the foam finally settles. Interesting aroma, difficult to place. Banana maybe, with some fruity background. The first sip is very interesting! Sharp taste, but no banana at all. Sharp , tangy taste, this must be the juniper. And now that I have read the fine print on the label and there it is, Saaremaa sahti. No wonder the taste was a bit familiar. Still not sure if I like sahti or not. Not my facourite.

Suklaanruskea korkki. Etiketissä partasuinen herra hymyilee, taustalla Saatemaan rakennuskantaa. Vitivalkea ohut vaahto, keltainen juoma. Reilusti hiiva pohjalla - pyörittelynkin jälkeen. Hapokas raikkaan sitruunainen kokonaisuus. Etiketin takapuolen mukaan: ”perinteisen saarenmaalaisen reseptin mukaan tehty”. Selvä se! Erilainen verrattuna kotoiseen lajityypin edustajaan. 4,00€.
