A traditional fest-style lager, straight out of Bavaria. A little more subtle than your average oomoah band, this malt-forward lager uses Munich and Vienna malts to create a rich tapestry of Mallard flavour and aroma.

The 2nd beer from my Brewdog Fanzine box issue 14. It pours almost amber in colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is of malts and hops. Flavour is malty with a bitter, hoppy finish.

Surprisingly a pretty decent Octoberfest beer. Has a nutty caramel malt taste. I'm surprised as I'm not the biggest fan of Flying Dog.
