Is this my first beer by Qrew? Yes it is! At least, it looks thick and delicious: cloudy, banana yellow, a bit overripe maybe. The pic, unfortunately, displays it darker than it is. The head is like whipped cream but not as white. Creamy rather. I mean colorwise. A full-fledged mousse on the top anyway. Two fingers initially, descends gradually to a still lovely lacing on the top. Extraordinarily dense ornaments on the rim of the glass. This can't go wrong. Or... Cream in the air. Big time. Now we have papaya in the scent. Wow! You don't get it too often in this magnitude. I can also find banana — no, I don't consider it an off-flavor here —, mushy mango, pitaya, kiwifruit and marginal but noticeable strawberry. Now we have tropical fruits like there's no tomorrow. Oh yes! 🥭🍌🥝🍓  I would bet for lactose, as well, this is soooo milkshakey. And I haven't even tasted the beer, yet. [Now sipping...] What!! I was prepared for a flat tire but in vain. I can still enjoy tropical flavors: papaya and mango, for sure. Maybe even a suggestion of durian without its stale odor. Banana, kiwifruit, strawberry, also some ripe pineapple and blood orange. And, yes, lactose. Mixed with cream. Milkshakey for sure! Apparently oat flakes the grainbill. The body clocks almost full. Let's lock the answer to medium-full then. The finish is pretty identical to upfront flavorwise but the creaminess declines and the citrusy side intensifies somewhat. Not massively though. The mouthfeel is medium-full, truly creamy, milkshakey, soft and smooth. It's also juicy, pulpy and tropical. Very seductive. If my first ever touch to Qrew is so inspiring, I should definitely learn more about it.
