A second flight. On the sour side. Hope to get more differences among the beers this time. At least they look different. Flight 1/4 (2) is dressed in clear amber. A white, tiny-bubbled head pops up at half a finger and melts then to a thin lace ring on the top. Alright! The name should give you a hint of the direction. Oh yes. Intensive mint in the scent. Like fresh mint leaf. Actually like fresh mint leaf infused tea. A bit of lemongrass, too. Unique but appealing, at least to my perverted senses. Mint is reduced to a surprisingly minor role on the tastebuds. It's there but it refuses to flex. Pity. Moreover, I can spot lemon tea, sour lemon pulp, brettanomyces, lemongrass and wheat malt. I'm starting to enjoy this flight. The body is light. Ends with sour lemon, tea and a whisper of mint. Less bold than upfront. Still nice. The mouthfeel is light, tea-like, zesty, pulpy, tart, acidic and puckering. Dries my gums and coats my teeth. I need a toothbrush. Or maybe later. +0.2 extra stars for oddness.
