My goodness, this place is way out of the city. A bit difficult to navigate here but here I am.
Now the signature IPA of this restaurant. Well... doesn't look too attractive: clear, deep amber. I hope it's not oxidized... Anyway, the carbonation behaves well, no excessive gestures. A restrained creamy head emerges up to one finger's level.
The scent is all what I was afraid of: malt, graham cracker, overripe fruits like apricot and grapefruit, and an interesting peppery note that combines green pepper and lemon peel. It must be timut pepper that is one of the ingredients of this masterpiece.
The flavors are marginally less aggressive but the elements remain the same: Vienna malt, graham cracker, dried apricot, overripe grapefruit, lemon zest and peel as well as truly distant green pepper. Okay, the label talks about "creativity in bottle". Not convinced, yet...
The body is light-medium, which surprises me positively. The end is similarly malty, crackery and ripe fruity whereas the peppery twist more or less vanishes at this point. Long duration anyway.
The mouthfeel is light-medium, overripe, relatively soft though, smooth and characterless. Well well... tick and forget.
At least my turkey file is tasty. These people don't spare oil. 😅
