Today's nightcap is a tropical bliss! A piña colada sour sounds like a treat. Looks seductive: deep warm yellow and absolutely impenetrable. Thick as never before. The carbonation is subdued. A yellow porous head pops up on the surface for a few seconds and then it's history.
The nose looooves the copious nuances of fresh mango, juicy pineapple, mushy nectarine, guava and sweet clementine. Coconut joins the dance eagerly. Should I put a cocktail parasol in my glass? Oat flakes soften the already soft sensation.
The taste is 💛💛💛 Mango, pineapple, papaya and guava. A pinch of nectarine. Coconut, for sure. Oat flakes give a soft biscuity flavor to the tastebuds. In addition to softness, there's an interesting spritzy sensation on the tongue as if the tiny bubbles of sparkling water crackling.
The body is full. Or it feels full. Probably the massive amounts of adjuncts mesmerize my senses so that a detailed assessment of the maltbody becomes impossible.
The finish is identical to upfront. The same tropical fruit salad prevails in the actual taste and even after swallowing. So they came in to the outway; it was Thursday, what a black day; mouth-to-mouth resuscitation; sounding heartbeats, intimidations; Annie, are you okay? The aftertaste's been hit by, it's been struck by, smooth criminals.
The mouthfeel is full, thick, substantially tropical, pulpy and not only juicy but smoothie-like. It's relatively soft and smooth but also spritzy. Unbeery. Definitely crushable! 💛💛💛 A piña colada boosted with mango steroids!
