Not sure if an imperial golden ale with lemon puree is simply a shandy. 7% is not normal for this style. Short but frothy and thick head. Lightly hazy lemon yellow color. Aroma of a candy lemon drop. Favor continues the hard candy lemon without any change in the finish. I don't believe this should be a shandy. Shandys are low alcohol, refreshing, drink all day type of beer. This will put you under the table if you try that. Refreshing, yes. But sipping a shandy so as to not overdo, is not what it is supposed to be. Delicious, yes. But reminds me of college punches whose purpose is to get you messed up. Beer is OK but I can't recommend unless you're a college freshman.
