BBF March 2025 I fear I've dropped the ball on this one. Thick, lucious, juicy pour with visible sediment, leaves a thick, lucious, juicy orange body with a thick haze, one long lasting finger of fluffy, peach coloured foam and the same visible sediment now gathering at the bottom of the glass. Scents are peach, bitter lemon, sweet orange and tart passionfruit all wrapped on a great sour funk. Mouthfeel is sharp, initially, but this is a heavy bodied sour and the bite is swiftly washed out by the foamy body that follows. Taste is predominately peach an passionfruit while the sweet citrus is assimilated by the bitter citrus. The taste was full on for the first half but for the second half it became a little thin and washed out. The core tenet is retained, just dialled down abit, but with this being so far past it's best, I can't really levy this against the beer score. A potentially great sour imo. It's unlikely but if you see a fresh one, get it.
