Since this will be my last time to pass by Pien for a while, why not stop for a small refreshment. One of my many brilliant excuses... 😅🍺 Colors murky peachy. Deep yellow for sure. Somewhat paler than what the pic suggests. Looks thick. A creamy head exceeds one finger but melts fast to a neat billowy lace ring on the top. The surface is also otherwise covered by a fragile haze. Cantaloupe, orange and peach in the scent. At least. Somewhat creamy but not ice-creamy. A very soft basement, probably oat flakes cushion the impression. The tastebuds basically enjoy what the beer has to offer. Lemon pulp and pith, raw pineapple, a bit of carambola and a surprising load of grassy flavors. Not as tropical as I thought. Maybe it's not meant to be? The body is medium-full. Applause! The finish offers more citruses, including bitter ones, as well as raw and pithy elements. Playing tunes like 3 a.m. and neon moon; we tried our hand at writing lyrics that our parents didn't understand; never forget the first time when we saw the aftertaste on a marquee. The mouthfeel is medium-full, somewhat crisp, a bit dry and definitely more drying. It's also zesty, juicy, pulpy and a tad pithy. Crushable but not sensational though.
