Pagan Queen
4.0% Golden Ale / Blond Ale
For Pagan Queen we asked Wylie to depict Iceni Queen Boadicea; war ravaged and uncompromising, during the short lived “spring” of her victory over three Roman cities, now known as Colchester, London and St Albans – Great job Wylie! All British ingredients including Boadicea hops have created a clean and crisp blonde beer with fruit in the nose and taste.

Trying out this bar down on the Fish Quay and it serves one of my faves so can't grumble. It's a canny little place and the beers on offer are good.

Pale gold blond beer, smooth, with an upmarket white bread flavour, a sort of bloomer in a pint glass. Nice bitter aftertaste.

Delightful fruity, crisp blonde ale with a dry aftertaste. Very easy to drink.
