Pale Ale
4.5% Pale Ale - English
Citrus peel and tropical fruit notes underpinned by an earthy herbal aroma. The artwork featured on this can was inspired by Giles Round’s tile set designed for Blackhorse Road Station in 2016, with some industrial additions to suit the area. The project’s name, Design Work Leisure is a good reflection of what the area is all about. Brewed in Belgium under contract from project leaders - Beer52 in collaboration with 7 breweries (and 1 winery) from the 'Blackhorse Beer Mile' - * Wildcard brewery * Beerblefish * Hackney brewery * EXALE brewing * Pretty decent beer co. Signature brew Big Penny beer (and Renegade urban winery) Additional Collab with & licenced by Transport for London.
Hops: Cascade, Jester, Mosaic
Malts: Oat, Pale, Spelt

Decent drink. Nice citrus aroma but with a tropical fruit note. Citrusy taste with a nice hoppiness mixed in. Again slight tropical fruit note coming through on the finish, which is slightly sweet. Definitely a good session ale that's crisp & refreshing

It pours gold in colour with a frothy white head and a subtle haze. Aroma is of pear drop sweets. Flavour is quite sweet with hints of citrus and biscuity malt.
