Hellgelb und minimal trüb im Glas. Ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase ist die Nelke sehr präsent und wird durch leichte Pfeffernoten begleitet. Der Antrunk zeigt feinperlige Kohlensäure und auch geschmacklich einige Säurespitzen nach unreifen Trauben, ehe das ganze in ein cremiges Mundgefühl übergeht und die Gewürze wieder die Kontrolle übernehmen. Hintenraus dann nochmal die leichte weinartige Säure. Insgesamt ein wirklich spannendes und facettenreiches Bier mit der ein oder anderen unerwarteten Nuance.

Medium full and medium plus dry body. Yeasty and floral feel to, hint of honey. Aftertaste rises the feel of sweetness greatly. Figs added alongside the body tones. Some oak there too. Holds its alcohol well keeping it clearly present but not dominating. Interesting and smartly named, as the name implies it does not try to compete with belgi beers even though it definately has character leaning towards belgi ales.
