Owlet is a love letter to the Hefeweizen. Brewed following German purity laws and conditioned with tradition in mind. Frothy foam passes on an aroma of banana, clove, and gentle spice.

A Duo beer with Ryan, a Georgia beer from Kennesaw Georgia that I brought to him.
Opaque yellow color, a lot of serious Haze. Aroma has a bit of a sour lemon and a distinctive wheat clove. Texture is clean and crisp. A much lighter beer than most hefeweizens. Flavor is weak. Plain and simple, weak. It has clove and what we agreed is a touch of a green Granny Apple seltzer. It's like a light beer with its watered down feeling. Plus it's extremely over carbonated. With that much haze you would expect an abundance of flavor which does not appear.
Sadly, this beer is boring. From the first sip through the middle through the finish it's like drinking a apple cider but with less flavor.
