Very mild taste, slightly, slightly sweet, ok

Tonight Ryan and I are going to Duo a Founders IPA. Great brewery that I hope can impress me. Certainly is hazy, can't see through it. Aroma of grapefruit pineapple and a hint of resin. First sip delivers a quick hit of bitterness that subsides into a crisp sweetness. Citrus starts as pineapple, it's sweet but the moment it goes to the back of the tongue a profound bitterness hits. The bitterness is pure grapefruit pith and it's strong. Long after the finish, the bitterness seems to grow. Next sip again goes to Sweet and finishes bitter again. Unusual to have such a distinctive transition. I'm sure this is a good beer for some, but that finish is a little too much for me.
