Mini Maxi Tropicale, Poland
4.5
Cloudy, pale lemon yellow beer with brave carbonation unleashes a whipped-creamy head that exceeds two fingers. The retention is astonishingly long, and the remaining lace ring looks surreally bumpy. A half-spoonful of some particles, obviously fruit pulp, sink to the bottom of the glass. I can easily recognize grapefruit zest, lemon pulp, bags of passionfruit and a bit of pineapple in the scent. A wheaty skeleton supports the fruit cornucopia. Passionfruit, lemon juice, grapefruit pulp, pineapple that is not entirely ripe as well as identifiable sour apple land on my tastebuds. The backbone? Wheat, of course. What else? Generally speaking, very tasty and full-flavored for 0.5 %. The body is light. Impossible to say that this is ultra-low-alc. Could well clock 5 %. The end offers exactly the same tropical fruit punch as upfront. Mini skirt, maxi party; dude, dude, get away from me; generation, woman nation, show him that the world is ruled by the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light, tart, a tad puckering, acidic and nicely tropical. Juicy, for sure. Also modestly mouthcoating. An impressive piece whose ABV fools me 6–0.
