Flemish brown ale ripened for 1,5 years is red wine foeders and then for a year on old Bordeaux casks.

Tommie Sjefs wild ales are single batch, so pretty rare, and not very cheap. I saved this bottle until Christmas to share with my brother and father.
To be totally frank, I am quite disappointed. It is missing depth, which leaves a straight forward sour. Not getting any cask lagered goodness. Next time I will just buy a good Oude Geuze.
