Ultra-low-alc sauna refreshment. Green plastic bottle = elegant. Shows a lucid champagne face. Sparkling carbonation releases a rushed head that barely spreads on the surface and moves immediately to history. The nose gets oversweet nuances: sweet pear juice, sweet apple juice and a soapy wink. The taste offers sweet-leaning flavors, both pear and apple merging into a messy blend. Sugary but not as unmanageable as the fragrance suggests. Citric acid keeps up the spirit. The mouthfeel is light, sappy, lip-glueing, sparkling and strongly soft-drink-like. Difficult to say how this fares in the category of sweet non-alcoholic pear ciders but I can handle this, so it can't be disastrous. In my opinion, I mean. I have had 12 Pear Ciders, 5 of which have received a rating of 1.0. None of the twelve Pear Ciders has been non-alcoholic or low-alc. I'll give it 2.3 for two main reasons: 1) sweet but not oversweet, 2) the ABV of 0.7 % doesn't have a negative effect on the taste as compared to my other relevant reviews.
