Very heavy pour with very little foam or carbonation. Resultant body is deep amber, leaning towards orange with the expected cloudy haze and only trace elements of off white head.
Scent is heavy very boozy, lots of fermented fruit tones upfront. There is some fermented pineapple, mango and mandarin.
Mouthfeel is not as heavy as I was expecting, though it is a little more than medium bodied. There is a nice warmth that fills the mouth an only trace foaminess by the end.
Taste is strong fermented pineapple and lots of juicy mango. The mandarin has intensified and deepened turning into more of a candied orange peel taste and a mild, almost insignificant amount of pine resin presents itself at the end.
A cracking dipa, but maybe too heavy for warmer seasons.

This one was so much stronger than it seemed when you start out.
It was a nice beer, rich and hoppy buy soon the strength caught you.
Wasn't too bad.
