Decent enough Porter. Nothing exceptional but good enough for the end of a night/session.

Nice dark porter, slightly smokey tasting and smooth.

Excellent. A porter with a mellow flavour up-front and then a really nice light fruitiness to accompany the roasty malt flavours.

No glass to hand so drunk from the bottle, looked dark in colour as far as I could tell. Actually very smooth in taste for a dark ale. Would definitely have another. Sadly only purchased one. From the Whitby brewery, not sure if it is actually in Whitby or not... just Googled it, according to the map it is right next to the famous Abbey itself. Being brewed in the shadow of the building that inspired Dracula can only be a good thing. I wonder if ol' Drac would go for a Porter...
