A deep malt and hoppy aroma with liquorice throughout. Roast malt, friut and hops also carry through this full bodied stout.

Definitely worth going to the dark side. Nice roasted malt aroma, with a roasted malt taste and a nice caramel note mixed in. Slightly bitter aftertaste, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale that's totally quaffable.

It’s a bit bifter and not great, not a cask man. Perhaps better on draught. Vindog.

Strong (though not overly so for an Imperial Stout) with a thick roasted malt body, creamy head, a reasonably bitter end & dark chocolate, espresso + liquorice flavours. Would no doubt rate it even higher on a cold winter's day!

Full bodied with chocolate and a hint of liquorice in the flavour. Enjoyable.
