First day of SOTS, staying next door. First beer a disaster. This better be an improvement. Nice head, full and lasting. Misty haze in a peach orange color. Aroma brings some amber malt with notes of bread. Flavor has a toffee trait, no sweetness, tart dry malt. This just doesn't work for me. The flavors don't blend, malt doesn't taste like it was prepared correctly, finish is sour, bitter and has the feel of a result of poor brewing. Not an effort to be proud of. Nola is better than this.
