My souvenir from Tallinn. A non-alcoholic Kvass. Flavored with orange. Sounds perverted.
The pour is basically transparent but black. The carbonation is fizzy as a tiny-bubbled head forms on the top. And waves immediately for goodbye.
Candied orange bits and orange jam are obvious in the scent. A wisp of rye malt extract looms in the background. Resembles julmust.
The taste is extraordinarily soft-drink-like. Like a cocktail of Coca-Cola, julmust and orange Fanta. Orange juice, candied orange peel, faint syrup, rye malt extract but also cola extract. Interesting! And definitely not bad.
The body is light. Or is there a body? Who knows. Anyway, ends with less orange flavors than upfront. Significantly less, as a matter of fact. A remotely syrupy tail.
The mouthfeel is light, sparkling, soft-drink-like and lip-glueing. Unbeery, for sure. Very difficult to rate as this deviates from the style, let alone other beerstyles. Enjoyable anyway.

Appelsiinin maulla on sekoitettu perinteinen Kali. Makuasioista ei voi kiistellä mutta en ollut makuuni

Tästä tulee mieleen appelsiinikonvehdit. Toimii vaikka jälkiruoan kanssa.
