My souvenir from Tallinn. A non-alcoholic Kvass. Flavored with orange. Sounds perverted. The pour is basically transparent but black. The carbonation is fizzy as a tiny-bubbled head forms on the top. And waves immediately for goodbye. Candied orange bits and orange jam are obvious in the scent. A wisp of rye malt extract looms in the background. Resembles julmust. The taste is extraordinarily soft-drink-like. Like a cocktail of Coca-Cola, julmust and orange Fanta. Orange juice, candied orange peel, faint syrup, rye malt extract but also cola extract. Interesting! And definitely not bad. The body is light. Or is there a body? Who knows. Anyway, ends with less orange flavors than upfront. Significantly less, as a matter of fact. A remotely syrupy tail. The mouthfeel is light, sparkling, soft-drink-like and lip-glueing. Unbeery, for sure. Very difficult to rate as this deviates from the style, let alone other beerstyles. Enjoyable anyway.
