Ruby rich hearty and robust. Fired by plentiful amounts of Goldings and First Gold Hops to give a wonderfully spicy but sweet fragrance finished with a splendid bitter note.

Typical red beer. Quite strong. Quite bitter. Reasonably hoppy and malty but in good proportion.

Decent enough beer. Nice caramel taste with a nice smokey aftertaste.

Good solid ale. Improves after every pint. Could easily manage a few.
