Englandreise #9 Ein sehr geschmackvolles Porter mit Röstaromen von bitterem Kaffee und süßem Malz. Im Nachtrunk verbleibt ein leicht rauchige Note, untermalt von Toffeegeschmack (Sahne-Karamellbonbon). Topp!

Now this one was a delightful surprise from my wife, as she knows well that I like dark ales, definitely full bodied with a tickle of coffee and toffee combined makes a a sort of Smokey taste and a delight to drink, will there be more of course there will be 🍺🍺

Traditional Porter roast coffee & liquorice flavours balanced by burnt caramel sweetness, which I suspect may possibly be brewed by Jennings for Lidl

A dark Porter, it's OK, nothing special.

So so...

Used to be better. Don’t know what has changed but the depth of flavour has gone. Used to be a good solid 3.5 but recently the bottles I picked up in Lidl just seem to be quite tasteless recently hence only a 2 nowadays
